The Young Learners 1 class has been learning about short vowels this trimester. In week 8, our main focus was practicing reading, writing and saying words that rhyme with ‘big’ and acting out and listening to words that have the short ‘u,’ like the words, ‘hug,’ ‘duck,’ ‘puddle,’ ‘gum,’ ‘rub,’ ‘tummy,’ etc. You can see two students giving each other a hug in the pictures. You can also see the book of rhyming words they made. Super job Young Learners 1!!
